As part of Parivarthan \u2013 2026, a seminar on<\/strong> \u201cIndustry Expectations \/ Alumni Perspective\u201d<\/strong> was conducted for the MBA students of Gnanam School of Business on 17 August 2026. The session featured Ms. Jasmine Vedha, Talent Scout, ANSR Global,<\/strong> as the resource person. The seminar was aimed at helping students understand the expectations of the corporate sector and gain a practical perspective on preparing themselves for professional opportunities.<\/p>

The session focused on the importance of connecting management education with workplace expectations. It provided students with an opportunity to reflect on the knowledge, skills, professional behaviour and employability qualities that are important for building a successful career after business school.<\/p>

Objectives of the Session<\/strong><\/p>

The session was conducted with the following objectives:<\/p>

  • To help students understand the expectations of the corporate sector from management graduates.<\/li><\/ul>

    \u00a0<\/p>

    • To create awareness about the skills and professional qualities required for employability.<\/li>
    • To help students understand the importance of communication, confidence, adaptability and a professional attitude.<\/li>
    • To encourage students to prepare themselves for recruitment processes and long-term career development.<\/li><\/ul>

      Key Focus Areas<\/strong><\/p>

      The seminar highlighted the importance of understanding what organisations expect from management graduates. Academic knowledge provides a foundation, but students also need to demonstrate the ability to communicate ideas clearly, work with different people, take responsibility and apply their learning to practical situations.<\/p>

      The session also emphasised the need for students to develop a professional mindset. In a competitive employment environment, employers look for candidates who are willing to learn, adapt to changing situations and contribute positively to the organisation.
