Workshop on Soft Skills Training GROUP DISCUSSION
GSB organized a one day workshop on Group Discussion preplacement training. It was taken over by Ms. Joan J founder & key advisor at expert consulting. She talks over the topic in a depth manner
She started what are the key points about the group discussion. She addresses the importance of maintaining appropriate postures and body language during GDs, highlighting the significance of maintaining eye contact, using gestures judiciously, and displaying confidence without appearing overbearing.
Then she taught us to learn new terms such as
- Appropriate postures
- Contribute thoughtfully
Overall, the program equips participants with essential skills and etiquette to excel in group discussions, a crucial aspect of job interviews and professional interactions.
She gave practical examples and give us some topics for Group Discussion. She gave a broad view on the topic Group Discussion and was a very interactive session throughout the day we are pleased of having that. The session was mind blowing and gave a very good introduction about the GD.
