Board of Studies (BoS) is the apex academic body at the department level responsible for curriculum design, syllabus revision, introduction of new courses, academic quality enhancement, and ensuring alignment with industry and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

The Board of Studies is responsible for:

Designing and revising curriculum.
Approving syllabi for all courses.
Introducing new electives and value-added courses.
Reviewing Programme Outcomes (POs) and Course Outcomes (COs).
Recommending industry-oriented curriculum changes.
Suggesting innovative teaching-learning methodologies.
Reviewing assessment and evaluation practices.
Strengthening industry and academic collaborations.
