12th A.Y.S. Parisutha Nadar Centenary Memorial Lecture & Award Ceremony

 The 12th A.Y.S. Parisutha Nadar Centenary Memorial Lecture was organized by the Gnanam School of Business on 27th March 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The event was conducted with the objective of honouring the legacy of Shri A.Y.S. Parisutha Nadar and promoting academic and intellectual discourse.

The program commenced with a High Tea at 10:45 AM, followed by the formal inauguration at 11:10 AM with the invocation of Thamizh Thai Vazhthu. The event began on a solemn and respectful note, setting the tone for the proceedings.

The Welcome Address was delivered by Dr. S. Anjali Daisy, Associate Professor, who warmly greeted the gathering and emphasized the significance of the memorial lecture. This was followed by the Presidential Address by Dr. S.P.S. Arul Doss, Director & CEO, who highlighted the contributions of Shri A.Y.S. Parisutha Nadar and the importance of such academic events.

An audio-visual presentation was then showcased, illustrating the life and achievements of Shri A.Y.S. Parisutha Nadar and the distinguished awardee, Padma Shri Dr. N. Punniamurthy, a renowned veterinary research scientist.

The guest speaker, Shri Samas, Editor of Puthiya Thalaimurai, Chennai, was formally introduced and felicitated. He then delivered the 12th Memorial Lecture, sharing valuable insights and perspectives, which were both informative and inspiring to the audience.

At 12:30 PM, a citation highlighting the achievements of Dr. N. Punniamurthy was presented, followed by the conferment of the A.Y.S. Parisutha Nadar Centenary Memorial Award for Excellence. The awardee delivered an acceptance speech, expressing gratitude and sharing his experiences and contributions to the field of veterinary science.

The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Dr. S. Kanimozhi, Associate Professor, who expressed appreciation to all dignitaries, speakers, and participants. The program ended with the National Anthem at 12:55 PM, followed by lunch at 1:00 PM.

Overall, the memorial lecture was a grand success, serving as a meaningful platform to honor excellence, celebrate knowledge, and inspire the academic community.
