8th Graduation Day

Gnanam School of Business (GSB), an autonomous institution dedicated to excellence in management education, celebrated its 8th Graduation Day with great pride and enthusiasm on Saturday, 25 July 2026, at the GSB Auditorium, Thanjavur. The ceremony marked a significant milestone in the academic journey of the graduating MBA students and reflected the institution’s commitment to nurturing competent, ethical, and industry-ready management professionals.

The ceremony commenced with the gracious presence of the dignitaries, faculty members, graduating students, parents, alumni, and guests. Shri. S.P. Selvaraj, Chairman, Gnanam School of Business, warmly welcomed the gathering and congratulated the graduating students on their successful completion of the MBA programme. He also extended his greetings to the parents, faculty members, distinguished guests, and well-wishers for their continued support to the institution. The Graduation Ceremony was formally declared open by Rev. Fr. Dr. N. Casimir Raj, SJ, Chairman, Governing Council, Gnanam School of Business and Founder of LIBA, Chennai. In his presidential address, he emphasized the importance of value-based education, ethical leadership, and lifelong learning in shaping responsible business leaders capable of contributing meaningfully to society.

The Chief Guest, Shri. V. Udaya Sankar, Director, NASSCOM Talent Council and Co-Founder, Maatram Foundation, Chennai, delivered the Graduation Day Address. He inspired the graduating students to embrace continuous learning, technological transformation, innovation, adaptability, and ethical leadership in their professional careers. Following his address, he conferred the MBA degree certificates upon the graduating students. The Administration of the Graduation Oath was led by Dr. S.P.S. Aruldoss, CEO & Director, Gnanam School of Business. He encouraged the graduates to uphold professional ethics, integrity, and social responsibility throughout their careers. He also delivered the Vote of Thanks, expressing sincere gratitude to the dignitaries, parents, faculty members, administrative staff, students, and all those who contributed to the successful organization of the event.

One of the highlights of the ceremony was the presentation of the institution’s prestigious awards in recognition of outstanding achievements and contributions:

• Raja Raja Cholan Award of Honor for Outstanding Contribution towards GSB was presented to Mr. I. Jyothi Roopan (Demings (2023-25) Batch).
• Rev. Fr. Dr. N. Casimir Raj Award for Excellence in Management Education was presented to Ms. S. Bhavadharani (Demings (2023-25) Batch).

The ceremony concluded on a joyous note as the graduating students celebrated their academic accomplishments with their parents, faculty members, and peers. The event symbolized the successful culmination of their management education and the beginning of their professional journey.
